Privacy — Private Beta
Hapsi is currently offered as an invite-only private beta.
We only use data needed to run, secure, and improve the app, along with any content and feedback you choose to provide.
If you fill in your profile, it holds your household, the cuisines you like, what you never eat, your kitchen equipment and your age band. We use it to adapt Hapsi's suggestions and, as totals only, to understand who uses Hapsi. Hapsi's chat sends your household, what you never eat and your equipment to our AI provider, never your age. The profile is deleted with your account, and you can clear it at any time in Settings.
We count how many minutes you spend in the app each day, only to improve it. No outside analytics service is involved.
We do not use your data for advertising and do not sell it.
Data may be processed by the technical services needed to host and operate the app. It is kept only for as long as needed to run and maintain the beta.
When you search, what you type and the titles and ingredient names of your recipes are sent to TypeSafe (USA) to find the recipes that match.
When you ask Hapsi for ideas, what you ask and a summary of your tastes (the cuisines and ingredients you save most) are sent to our AI and web search providers. We keep what you asked, and which ideas you opened or saved, for 90 days, to learn what Hapsi should do next.
Questions you ask Hapsi in its chat are sent to our AI provider together with context from your recipes, menu and grocery list, and we keep the questions for 90 days.
